Garraldargi Koop represents the first local energy community in the herrialde, functioning as a consumer cooperative. Its approach focuses on self-management and the active participation of members, which underlines its community and cooperative nature. The initiative seeks to generate and distribute renewable electrical energy at a very reduced cost for the residents of Garralda who join the cooperative, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and local benefit.
