VNG ENERGIA, has begun the executive phase for the commissioning of the first interconnected solar photovoltaic generating installation with a nominal power of 100 kW (126 kWp) installed in the private warehouses of Contreras and Auto Cosp constructions, at 7 Industria Street. of Vilanova y la Geltrú for the use of shared self-consumption.
This installation will evacuate the energy produced in the electrical network, operating with solar panels in a shared self-consumption mode with compensation for surpluses connected to the internal network, so that different consumers (around 75 families and companies) through the network electricity, and according to the distribution coefficients, they can take advantage of the energy generated by their own consumption.
The faci...lity will also have a storage system that will partially allow consumption at night.
The 2 km area for shared self-consumption covers 75% of the residential areas of Vilanova and the entire Les Roquetes de S.P. neighborhood. of Ribes.
In the link on our website www.vngenergia.cat in the facilities section, you can see the details of the production plant.

Maximum energy generation capacity of the facility under optimal conditions, measured in kW.

Total electricity produced by the project within one year, expressed in kWh.

Reduction of greenhouse gases through the generation of renewable energy from this project, replacing the traditional energy mix managed by REE.

Individuals within the project area who can consume or benefit from the energy produced.
